In Lombardy, the Italea project is carried out by a group of young territorial facilitator who approach tourism as an opportunity for small towns, villages, and inland areas. We come together through the social promotion association tracciaminima.

We are crafting a range of itineraries, workshops, and activities tailored for Italian descendants eager to explore their family roots in Lombardia, while engaging with and supporting local communities. To accomplish this, we are building a strong network of territorial alliances with individuals and organizations that have long been devoted to preserving and enhancing the local cultural, environmental, and human heritage.

We believe that heritage tourism presents a significant opportunity for smaller and marginalized destinations, capable of triggering transformation not only in travelers but also in those who welcome them.
